Devon Dampier put on a show in Las Vegas as the Utes wrapped up the 2025 season with their 11th win.

Dampier threw for 310 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 148 yards and three more scores as Utah scored 37 unanswered points after ending the first quarter down 14-7.

That is the Utes’ sixth win in a row, and the first for new head coach Morgan Scalley.

Fourth quarter

1:55 — The Huskers got on the board one more time, as TJ Lateef scored on a 7-yard keeper. Nebraska also added a two-point conversion to cut its deficit in half. Utah 44, Nebraska 22.

8:16 — Utah’s longest drive of the day ended in the end zone, as Devon Dampier hit Dallen Bentley for a 17-yard touchdown. Utah 44, Nebraska 14.

The Utes moved the ball 95 yards in eight plays for their latest touchdown.

That came on a third-and-goal from the 20, after an intentional grounding penalty. Utah drove 74 yards in nine plays for the score.

2:20 — That’s three touchdowns in three drives, with Nebraska getting in the end zone for a second time.

The Huskers capped a 12-play, 75-yard drive with an 8-yard touchdown pass from TJ Lateef to Jacory Barney Jr. Nebraska 14, Utah 7.

The Huskers ran the ball six times on that drive, averaging 12.5 yards per carry.
