Indiana football will enter Big Ten play 3-0, extending the longest winning streak in FBS to 19 games, but fell in the latest edition of the AP top-25 poll.

The Hoosiers rank in at No. 5 in the latest edition of the poll, one spot below where they were last week. The drop is largely because of Ole Miss surging into that spot with Saturday’s impressive win over LSU, now at No. 10, for vengeance over Lane Kiffin.

Indiana will enter conference play as the Big Ten’s highest-ranked team following Ohio State’s fall from No. 1 after a loss to Texas last week. It’ll have its hands full with a Northwestern team that just beat Colorado 41-7 at home.
