How Oregon's offense compares to the rest of the CFP field

Survive and advance. That’s the goal for teams in the College Football Playoff, and that’s exactly what the Oregon Ducks did against the James Madison Dukes in the first round.
While the defense allowed 28 second-half points, disappointing head coach Dan Lanning, the offense turned the ball over twice, both interceptions off of quarterback Dante Moore. Just like the defense, the offense didn’t meet their standard in the second half.
But in the end, 51 points and over 500 yards of total offense is going to lead to a lot of Duck victories — two statistical marks and a result that have occurred plenty of times this season, as Oregon’s offense has established itself as one of the best in the nation, helping drive the team to 12 wins.
They’re currently getting set to take on the No. 4 Texas Tech Red Raiders, champions of the Big 12 and also sporting one of the top offenses in college football — if not the best, statistically speaking.
Check out how the Ducks and Red Raiders compare in several offensive stat categories as well as how they relate to the entire remaining eight-team CFP field.
