Mississippi State scored two touchdowns in a span of 3:12 in the fourth quarter to beat visiting then-No. 19 Missouri 31-24 last week as Kamario Taylor threw for three scores and Fluff Bothwell found the end zone twice. Bothwell’s four-yard run with 7:09 tied the game and Taylor’s 24-yard pass to Sanfrisco Magee gave the Bulldogs back the lead with 3:57 remaining after they squandered an early 14-0 edge. Taylor finished 27-of-38 for 360 yards and an interception while Bothwell picked up 122 yards on 25 carries as Mississippi State improved to 2-0 in SEC play.

Alabama had no such struggles last week in a 49-18 rout of visiting South Carolina. Keelon Russell threw four TD passes and added a scoring run, finishing 21-of-27 for 365 yards, with Ryan Coleman-Williams making five catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns, with the Crimson Tide getting to 2-0 in the SEC.

The Tide has won the last 16 meetings with the Bulldogs, whose last victory came in 2007, and lead the all-time series 88-17-3 (officially 86-18-3). Russell comes in with 1,129 yards and eight touchdowns on 70.9% passing, with Coleman-Williams leading the team with 17 catches, 333 yards and three scores. Taylor checks in with 1,192 yards, 14 TDs and two interceptions on 69.2% accuracy and Bothwell piled up 402 yards and three touchdowns thus far. Anthony Evans III leads the receiving corps with 28 grabs and 408 yards while Magee has five scoring catches.

This is a great college football matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
