For the 11th game of the 2025 season, the Miami Hurricanes hit the road to play the Virginia Tech Hokies in historic Lane Stadium. Enter Sandman on deck!

Last week, Miami beat the brakes off of NC State and their South Florida native QB C.J. Bailey 41-7. It was a dominant performance for the Canes, and one they hope to replicate in some manner this (and every) week.

On the other side, Virginia Tech’s woeful season continued with a 34-14 home loss to Florida State. The Hokies, who fired their coach in September, are 3-7 and limping to the finish of this season. They did recently hire former Penn State coach James Franklin though, so the Hokies are looking to improve for the future. But that won’t help them this week.

Here are the particulars for you to watch this week’s game:

#13 Miami Hurricanes (8-2, 4-2 ACC) at Virginia Tech Hokies (3-7, 2-4 ACC)

This is the penultimate regular season game of the year for both teams, but the stakes are much higher for Miami (because, if we’re being honest, there are no stakes for Virginia Tech). Miami is still chasing a potential berth in the ACC Championship Game (unlikely) and College Football Playoff (possible………………….if the committee stops their coordinated effort to screw Miami over).

But, either way, Miami’s path forward must include a win over a very, very bad Virginia Tech team. Tune in and see the action on Saturday at noon!
