The college football action continues on NBC and Peacock with four matchups. First, at 12:30 PM ET, it's Eastern Michigan vs Wisconsin; coverage will also be available on YouTube for this game. Then, at 2:00 PM, it's Southern Illinois vs Illinois, followed by Western Kentucky vs No. 4 Indiana. Later, at 7:30 PM, the Michigan State Spartans take on the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish on NBC and Peacock.

Michigan State:
Michigan State is 2-0 following a dominant 35-7 home victory over Eastern Michigan last Saturday. Alessio Milivojevic completed 12-of-20 for 170 passing yards and two touchdowns. The redshirt sophomore quarterback, who is in his first full season as the Spartans starter, has thrown for 417 yards and three touchdowns through two games this season.
The Spartans are led by first-year head coach Pat Fitzgerald, who replaced Jonathan Smith, who was fired last November.
Fitzgerald, who was most recently the head coach at his alma mater, Northwestern, from 2006-22, is Michigan State's third full-time head coach since 2020.
The Spartans look to Fitzgerald to lead them to their first bowl game appearance since 2021.
Notre Dame:
Notre Dame is coming off a 52-0 home victory over Rice last Saturday. It was Notre Dame's first shutout since 2022, when the Fighting Irish defeated Boston College 44-0.
Junior QB CJ Carr completed 16-of-20 for 253 yards and matched a career-high four touchdowns.
"His decisions are impeccable," head coach Marcus Freeman said of Carr after the game. "Last week he made the right decision 99% of the time. This week it felt like he was making the right decision and getting us in the right protections, the right checks, all those different things that he does.”
While Freeman has all the confidence in Carr, the Fighting Irish look to improve their run game after losing two of their top running backs, Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price, who were first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, is still a work in progress.
"We're doing a good job running ball, we want to be more explosive," Freeman said. "We want to find ways to create some big plays out of our run game, which we've done in the past.”
