After falling to the UCLA Bruins, 17-15, in Week 6 for their second loss of the year, the Oregon Ducks find themselves unranked heading into their Week 7 home date with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. And the Cornhuskers will be no easy opponent, as they enter with a 5-1 record after giving the Indiana Hoosiers a run for their money last week.

The Ducks had a lot to clean up this week, especially offensively after they turned the ball over six times prior to the final play of the game. The quarterback situation is the biggest question, as head coach Dan Lanning has yet to name a starter with Dylan Raiola, Brock Thomas and Akili Smith Jr. all reportedly competing for the nod. Raiola stunk it up last week while Thomas was excellent in relief. Smith is the wildcard, uber talented but has yet to appear in a competitive game in his career (he threw four passes against FCS Portland State).

The defense, though they allowed a few chunk plays, was stout against the Bruins and will look to repeat that effort against a talented Cornhuskers offensive unit.
