The Ohio high school football season is nearing its conclusion with state title games on the schedule in December.
In OHSAA Division II, Anderson will face off against Avon — which defeated Walsh Jesuit in the state semifinal round after Walsh dispatched No. 1 seed Archbishop Hoban the week prior.
Matching what Walsh had done in the state semis against top-seeded Hoban, Avon cruised to a comfortable win, 38-7.
They'll look to repeat that success and complete a state title run with another win against Anderson.
