Notre Dame football will find out its fate in the College Football Playoff early this afternoon, and they’ll know if it will be preparing to travel for a first-round game or will be accepting a bid to a non-playoff bowl game.
It does look like the Irish should be in, but that might not be the case as we will still await to find out how the committee will select its 12-teams. Most think that Notre Dame is in, but we will need to see it in writing before making plans to watch the playoff game.
