How will nor'easter affect Virginia Tech vs Boston College football game?

Boston College and Virginia Tech figure to play in some wet and windy conditions Saturday as a strengthening nor'easter is moving up the East Coast and expected to last through the weekend.
Per Accuweather, the Boston area is expected to receive "heavy rains, damaging winds and significant coastal floods over the weekend."
Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
"We always take the weather into account," Eagles coach Bill O'Brien said, per the school's official website. "Playing outdoors, we embrace it. We're going to play in any type of weather or whatever it is. We practice outside as much as we can. The heat, the rain, the snow, that's the weather you have to deal with. So this is what it is. We embrace this stuff."
The worst of the storm is expected from the evening of Friday, Sept. 25 through the evening of Saturday, Sept. 26 in Rhode Island, central and eastern Massachusetts, Connecticut, Long Island, New York, southeastern New Hampshire and the southern Maine coast.
"It's definitely going to be different," said BC linebacker Anthony Palano. "It's not going to be sunny outside [on Saturday]. There's a nor'easter, and that's something we have to embrace. It just brings back a little bit of backyard football [when] it would be raining outside or snow and mud. Obviously, it's on turf [on Saturday], but I think it'll be a good time, and I'm excited for the challenge."
Boston College is 2-1 to start O'Brien's third season in charge, while the Hokies are 3-0 in James Franklin's first season in Blacksburg.
"It doesn't matter," Tech cornerback Joshua Clarke said of the storm, per The Key Play. "Rain, snow, sleet, shine — we're gonna be ready to play."
What is a nor'easter?
Named for the strong northeasterly winds that blow in from the Atlantic Ocean and across coastal states, the Nor'easter is forecast to bring more rain from North Carolina as far north as New England, with significant impacts expected in the Outer Banks, New Jersey, Boston and New York City.
