Pat Fitzgerald is beginning his pursuit of the 2027 recruiting class, identifying targets to offer in the next class. On Monday, a couple of in-state offers went out, including a Grand Rapids native.
Lundon Hampton, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder that plays both running back and defensive back, receiving an offer as an athlete from Fitzgerald. Previously a standout at Jackson Lumen Christi, he currently is at Kenowa Hills.
He currently does not have a ranking on the recruiting services, but does hold power conference offers from Cincinnati and Pitt. He holds FBS offers from Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, Southern Miss, Toledo and Western Michigan.
