Indiana football’s recruiting hot streak continued on Wednesday when the Hoosiers landed the top prospect in Washington, D.C.
Da’Jon Talley-Rhodes, a running back out of the nation’s capital, announced his commitment to the program via On3/Rivals on Wednesday evening. He chose the Hoosiers over offers from Penn State and Boston College, per Rivals national recruiting and transfer portal reporter Hayes Fawcett.
Talley-Rhodes attends St. John’s College High School. He’s rated as a 4-star prospect by Rivals, ranking in as the 25th highest-rated running back in the class. He’s rated as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports, ranking in as the 30th highest-rated running back in the class. Both services rank him at the highest-rated prospect in Washington D.C.
Indiana has found tremendous success at running back under position coach John Miller, who’s coached multiple highly productive runners in just two seasons in Bloomington. Now the Hoosiers look to build for the future with the Talley-Rhodes addition.
