Indiana football offers 4-star 2028 linebacker Ryan Peterson

Indiana football’s staff is taking full advantage of the quite period between spring football and summer football, hitting the road and the phones to talk with prospects as they look to build up the 2027 and 2028 recruiting classes.
Among the latest targets is Ryan Peterson, a linebacker in the class of 2028 out of William Amos Hough High School in Cornelius, North Carolina, who was recently extended a scholarship offer from the program, per his social media. His teammate, 2027 safety Davion Jones, recently listed the Hoosiers as one of his five finalists and is set for an official visit to Bloomington this weekend.
Peterson is rated as a 4-star by 247Sports, ranking in as the 8th highest-rated linebacker and 114th highest-rated prospect overall in 2028 by the 247Sports Composite. He’s also rated as a 4-star by On3/Rivals, ranking in as the 9th highest-rated linebacker and 111th highest-rated prospect overall in the Rivals Industry Ranking.
