As Iowa football continues its recruiting activity, the Hawkeyes extended a scholarship offer to class of 2028 wide receiver prospect Maximus Curry.

Curry is a 5-foot-9, 171-pound receiver from Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tenn., and is currently unrated by all three major scouting sites (On3, 247Sports, ESPN).

In his sophomore season with Battle Ground Academy, Curry recorded 1,404 yards and 20 touchdowns on 57 receptions in just 14 games played, per MaxPreps. This was a drastic improvement from his freshman season, where he registered 278 yards and three scores on 27 catches in the same number of games.

Despite being off the radar of the three scouting sites thus far, the Hawkeyes' offer now gives Curry 11 offers, including scholarship offers from programs such as Ole Miss, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Hawaii, and Big Ten foe Purdue.

While Curry is certainly destined to receive plenty of additional offers, it's important that Iowa gets out in front of the impending wave as he continues his development and recruiting journey.
