Iowa owns a 25-23-2 all-time series lead over Michigan State, but the Hawkeyes fell to the Spartans last season, 32-20. At the time, it was a pretty shocking upset.
Michigan State entered that Oct. 19, 2024, date against Iowa on a three-game losing streak. But, the Spartans proved the oddsmakers wrong thanks to an efficient day from Michigan State quarterback Aidan Chiles and 212 rushing yards. Michigan State outgained Iowa in the victory, 468-283.
Iowa had entered as a 6.5-point favorite, per ESPN Bet.
The Hawkeyes will look to make amends upon what was one of their more frustrating results of the 2024 season and to send their seniors out on a proper note when they welcome in Michigan State to Kinnick Stadium.
