Despite winning three straight and moving its record to 6-2 (4-1 Big Ten), Iowa still sits outside the rankings in the Week 11 edition of the AP Top 25 College Football Poll. The Hawkeyes are the first team outside the top 25 in the receiving votes category, though. Iowa earned 71 points in the Week 11 AP Top 25 poll.

As for the Big Ten as a whole, the conference sees six programs land inside the Week 11 top 25.

Ohio State (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) remains at No. 1 for the 10th consecutive week, followed by No. 2 Indiana (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten), No. 6 Oregon (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten), No. 20 USC (6-2, 4-1 Big Ten), No. 21 Michigan (7-2, 5-1 Big Ten), and No. 24 Washington (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten).

While Iowa is on a three-game winning streak, with victories over Wisconsin, Penn State, and Minnesota, the Hawkeyes have yet to secure a statement victory over a top 25 opponent this season.

The Hawkeyes' upcoming Saturday clash against No. 6 Oregon from Kinnick Stadium provides an opportunity to capture that splash victory that would send Iowa vaulting up in the national polls. Indiana was ranked No. 11 when Iowa welcomed in the Hoosiers for the two teams' Week 5 battle.
