College Football Playoff Quarterfinal: Thursday, January 1, 2026

Alabama Crimson Tide (11-3) vs Indiana Hoosiers (13-0)

Pasadena, CA ~ 3pm/4pm ESPN

Uniform: As the higher seed, Indy is the home team and are expected to wear crimson jerseys with white pants. In turn, the Tide will don all whites.
Indy Injuries: Star DL Stephen Daley is out.
Bama Injuries: Basically at full force including edge LT Overton and reserve RB Kevin Riley.
History: Indiana is one of the very few Power teams that Alabama has never faced in football. Veterans on both teams have experienced playing in Pasadena. Indiana played UCLA in the Rose Bowl stadium in the 2024 season. The Crimson Tide faced Michigan* in the 2023 semifinal in this same arena.
Weather: It rained last night and most of the morning in Pasadena. The forecast originally called for heavy rain throughout the game. However, the football gods have smiled upon the Rose Bowl and the rain have subsided for now. Stadium officials have kept the natural grass turf under a tarp.
