Last week, Missouri football dropped a heartbreaker, falling 17-10 on the road against No. 11 Vanderbilt in a matchup of top-15 teams.
This week, the Tigers will get some extra time to heal from those wounds.

Coach Eli Drinkwitz’s team will be off on Saturday during Week 10 of the 2025 college football season, sitting back with a 6-2 record and its College Football Playoff dreams still intact.
Missouri has little, if any, room for error, though. A third loss would likely knock the Tigers out of playoff contention and with a schedule that still features games against No. 3 Texas A&M and on the road against No. 18 Oklahoma, it will be difficult to avoid a slip-up somewhere along the way.
That challenge got even greater in the loss to Vanderbilt, with quarterback Beau Pribula exiting the game on a cart and in an air cast with what Drinkwitz later described as a “non-fractured dislocated ankle.” A timetable for a possible return has not been specified.

Is Missouri playing today?
Missouri is off for Week 10 of the 2025 season, giving the Tigers two weeks to prepare for their highly anticipated Week 11 game against No. 3 Texas A&M. The Aggies will be well-rested, too, as they’re also on bye this weekend.
It’s the second and final of Missouri’s idle weeks this season. Its previous bye week came in Week 6, wedged between its lopsided win against UMass and its loss to Alabama.
