Star linebacker Jacob Rodriguez is among the five players listed as probable for the Texas Tech football team in the initial injury report for Thursday’s College Football Playoff quarterfinal game against Oregon.

Rodriguez is joined by receiver T.J. West, cornerbacks Ashton Hampton and Dontae Balfour and kicker Stone Harrington in the “probable” designation in the Orange Bowl availability report, which was released Monday night and is mandated for all CFP participants.

Three Texas Tech players have been officially ruled out for the game: defensive tackle Skyler Gill-Howard, quarterback Will Hammond and offensive lineman Hunter Zambrano.

Oregon has eight players listed as out for the game, including receiver Evan Stewart. There was a possibility that Stewart, who has been out all season, would be able to return for the Ducks in the CFP but that is not the case, at least against the Red Raiders.
