UConn football has landed two more 2027 recruits, bringing the class total to 19 players.
Jalen Moseley, Cornerback
Moseley announced his verbal commitment to UConn on X on Monday. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound cornerback received 13 offers, including from James Madison, Syracuse, and Florida Atlantic. The Rhode Island native took an unofficial visit on April 4 and returned for an official visit on June 12.
Moseley, who attends La Salle Academy (RI), helped the Rams to an overall 7-4 record in the 2025 season. In his junior year, Moseley played on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and cornerback. For the Huskies, the two-way player is expected to play in the secondary.
Football is not the only sport Moseley is known for, as he’s improved his speed through track. In the 2026 outdoor stretch, the soon-to-be senior recorded a 10.69-second 100-meter and a 22.11-second 200-meter. In his announcement, the multiskilled athlete also mentioned bringing his track & field talent to UConn.
Jeremiah Ogbeifun, OL
Ogbeifun announced a verbal commitment to UConn on X on Tuesday. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive lineman received nine offers, including from Pittsburgh, Iowa State, and Miami (OH). The Ohio native was recruited by the Huskies’ offensive line coach, John Morookian.
In just one year of playing football at Pickerington Central HS (OH), Ogbeifun quickly became a college-ready player due to his size. Before his junior year, the soon-to-be senior played basketball and competed in track and field’s throwing events. For UConn, the team is expected to use him as a tackle.
Now, Ogbeifun will join Aden Norris and Krystian Oakley as the third offensive lineman to commit to Connecticut.
