Jaxon Smith-Njigba names the NFL-bound college player just ‘like Lebron James’

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has picked up from where he left off last season as the best wide receiver in the NFL.
The question as to who is the overall best wideout in the league is still a debate, but there is currently no other player showing the same form as the Seattle Seahawks star.
Smith-Njigba currently has 405 receiving yards on the season and an incredible six touchdowns through the opening three weeks.
Therefore, there is no one better to evaluate the current talent in college football, as they prepare to potentially play NFL football next year.
And there is already one player on his radar, who Smith-Njigba has described as ‘like LeBron James’.

Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith is doing it like no one else in college football currently.
Through the opening four games of the Buckeyes’ season, Smith has recorded 617 yards and seven touchdowns, which is more than any other wideout in both respective statistics.
“We’ve seen great talents come through Ohio State: the Chris Olaves, the Cris Carters, the Garrett Wilsons, but we really haven’t seen a guy like Jeremiah Smith come out of Ohio State,” Smith-Njigba said.
“We’re all looking forward to it. He’s like LeBron James, so to speak, and the pressure is on him, but he seems to respond week after week.”
For a current NFL player to put such high praise on a college player shows just how special Smith really is.
During the Buckeyes’ victory at the weekend over Illinois, Smith put up four touchdowns and 217 yards.
Even in their only loss of the season against the Texas Longhorns, Smith was still able to dominate as he secured two touchdowns and 164 yards.
Given the question marks surrounding the current crop of quarterbacks, the Ohio State receiver is standing out as the obvious number one pick for the draft.
