Jemele Hill has one main problem with the College Football Playoff this year.
The former ESPN personality, who hosted the 6 p.m. E.T. SportsCenter with Michael Smith, sounded off on the 12-team College Football Playoff field. Indiana, Ohio State, Georgia, Texas Tech, Oregon, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Alabama, Oklahoma, Miami, Tulane and James Madison made up the 12-team field.
Everyone's been talking about the Miami vs. Notre Dame debate for the final spot. But should the Crimson Tide have made it? Alabama went 10-3 this season, with a loss to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.
Hill, the former ESPN star, made it clear that she has one main problem with the College Football Playoff field this year: Alabama.
"My biggest issue with Alabama getting in the playoff is that when you’re in the SEC, wins and losses count the same. If teams in the SEC championship are always going to get credit just for being there, then what’s the point?" she asked.

She has a point. The SEC seems to be the only conference that wants credit for both wins and losses. Alabama did not look like one of the best teams in the country against Georgia on Saturday.
Former Alabama star agrees with Jemele Hill
Former Alabama star Mark Ingram made it clear that he believes the Crimson Tide should have been left out of the College Football Playoff.
"Bama – you played Georgia in the SEC championship, you lose by 21," Ingram said on Fox's pregame show on Saturday. "I got too much Bama in me, but you're out. Now, Miami and Notre Dame should both get in, in my opinion. I think that's the decision the committee is going to have to make because when you have two bad losses (entering) the championship game, you have to play well in the championship game."
Alabama ended up making it in, though, and the Crimson Tide will get No. 9 Oklahoma in the first round.
