New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is busy preparing for their game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 on Sunday. He will continue to be a key piece as the Jets try to finally end a 15-year playoff drought.
Wilson is focusing on the new season, so he has no time to keep tabs on Michigan, his old arch-nemesis at Ohio State.
The Wolverines won their first assignment against Western Michigan, 13-12, with a last-second touchdown on Saturday. But it was not without controversy, as the game officials were called out over clock management. The MAC appealed the result, but the NCAA reaffirmed Michigan’s win.

When asked about it, Wilson gave a candid response about the Wolverines.
“I didn’t watch it. I was watching tennis, honestly. But it doesn’t surprise me. Them getting the nod on some BS,” said Wilson with a smile in the video posted by SNY.

The former Offensive Rookie of the Year starred for Ohio State from 2019 to 2021 before the Jets drafted him with the No. 10 pick in 2022.
The Buckeyes and the Wolverines have a longstanding rivalry that dates back to 1897.
Michigan won on a miraculous pass from Bryce Underwood to JJ Buchanan for the walk-off score after the game officials put one second back on the game clock.
The MAC appealed that the “replay protocol was not properly followed,” but the NCAA stated that it “does not have a protocol for overturning the outcome of a game,” as reported by Yahoo! Sports’ Ross Dellenger.
Incidentally, Wilson battled Michigan in his final game for Ohio State. The Buckeyes lost, 42-27, with Wilson tallying 10 catches for 119 yards and a touchdown.
