https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ED7Fp3Cj0xYLarry June and Jhené Aiko are fueling fresh romance rumors after appearing unusually intimate in the new music video for their collaboration “California Dream.” The speculation arrives months after TheGrio covered breakup rumors surrounding Aiko and Big Sean and years after Aiko and Sean played up romance in a music video of their own. Now, Larry June and Jhené Aiko have fans wondering whether the chemistry in their latest visual extends beyond the song.

The “California Dream” video shows the Bay Area rapper and the R&B singer sharing several affectionate moments, including repeated embraces and scenes that present them as a couple.

Complex reported that the video goes beyond the flirtatious acting often used in music visuals, with one sequence even appearing to simulate sex. Neither June nor Aiko has publicly confirmed that they are dating.

The speculation did not begin with the video. Complex noted that fans had already been connecting the two romantically after Instagram posts sparked questions about whether they were spending time together outside of music.

“California Dream” appears on June’s latest album, “Who Coppin,” and the new visual has intensified that discussion by placing the pair in a noticeably romantic setting.

Aiko’s personal life has already drawn attention over the past year because of reports that her long-running relationship with Big Sean had ended. The two artists had been romantically linked for nearly a decade, collaborated as TWENTY88 and welcomed their son, Noah, in 2022.

When breakup rumors circulated in November 2025, Sean publicly denied claims that he had already moved on with another woman and defended Aiko from criticism online. Neither artist formally confirmed the end of their relationship at the time.

June, meanwhile, has largely kept his romantic life away from the public attention surrounding his music.

For now, the “California Dream” visual is not confirmation of a relationship. But the intimate scenes have given fans new material to dissect, and Larry June and Jhené Aiko are doing little in the video to quiet the romance rumors.
