Joel Klatt ranks his top 10 college football teams before Week 11

Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt made a major shakeup in his top 10 rankings ahead of Week 11. Last week featured some major upsets, including one that changed Klatt’s rankings.

The Georgia Bulldogs, who slide down to No. 6, almost suffered their own upset against the Florida Gators. Georgia played inconsistent and sloppy the whole game, but down 20-17, Chauncey Bowens ran in the game-winning touchdown with 4:36 left in the game. Georgia continues to be hard to kill, but they’ll need to make sure not to slip up this Saturday against Mississippi State.

The Miami Hurricanes are the team that slides off the board after their brutal loss to the SMU Mustangs in overtime. Former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck threw a game-losing interception in overtime and the Mustangs, who had negative-three yards rushing in regulation, ran in the game-winning touchdown to win it 26-20.

Texas Tech replaces the Miami Hurricanes, sliding in at No. 10. They had another complete showing, winning 43-20 against Kansas State. The Arizona State loss is the only time the Red Raiders allowed an opponent to score over 20 points and they have the second-highest point differential per game among College Football Playoff teams (behind Indiana).
