Jordan Marshall suffered an early exit in "The Game", and Michigan may now be without one of its most explosive players.

The Wolverines’ running back was deemed “unlikely” to return against Ohio State, according to the FOX broadcast via On3. He left in the first quarter after appearing to aggravate a shoulder injury.

Marshall’s status was uncertain entering Saturday after injuring the shoulder against Northwestern. He delivered an explosive opening quarter, rushing five times for 61 yards, including a long untouched 36-yard run early.

Marshall departed favoring his right arm but stayed along Michigan’s sideline with his helmet on. After halftime, FOX’s Tom Rinaldi confirmed the setback, reporting Marshall had re-aggravated the shoulder and was unlikely to reenter the contest.

It marks a significant blow for Michigan as it pushes to extend its rivalry win streak. Ohio State leads 24-9 with six minutes left in the third quarter.
