Jordan Seaton Announces Career News Moments After Colorado's Latest Loss

The Colorado Buffaloes came into Saturday’s matchup with No. 25 Arizona State riding a three-game losing streak and playing for nothing but pride at this point in the season.

While the Buffs trailed by as little as four points in the fourth quarter despite missing star left tackle Jordan Seaton, they ended up losing 42-17 after a fumble at Arizona State’s 20-yard line by walk-on running back Ronald Coleman, flipping the entirety of the game. The loss dropped Colorado to 3-8 on the season, while Arizona State moved to 8-3 and stays in the Big 12 title race. As for Seaton, the former five-star was a late scratch as he was listed as questionable heading into the game, but missed his second straight game.

Although there wasn’t much to celebrate on the field Saturday night, Seaton did take to X to reveal that he was given an award. Seaton shared that he was given the “Buffalo Heart Award,” which, as stated on the plaque, is determined by the fans.

“Thank you Buff Nation,” wrote Seaton.

Seaton’s absence was felt on Saturday as freshman quarterback Julian Lewis was sacked four times and was frequently under pressure in the loss. On the year, Seaton has a pass-blocking grade of 83.9, according to PFF.

Seaton and the Buffs will close the season out next week against Kansas State (5-6), who needs just one win to secure bowl eligibility this season.
