Josh Heupel kicks off Tennessee-Auburn game week

No. 17 Tennessee (3-1, 0-1 SEC) will return to Neyland Stadium on Saturday. The Vols will host Auburn (3-1, 1-1 SEC) and first-year head coach Alex Golesh.
He served as Tennessee's offensive coordinator and tight ends coach from 2021-22 under head coach Josh Heupel.
Heupel kicked off game week Monday and discussed facing Golesh and the Tigers.
"Champions weekend this weekend," Heupel said. "We'll honor and have a bunch from a lot of different sports here. Look forward to seeing them and, obviously, another conference game, so excited about that.
"Good opponent. Coach Golesh, his staff done a good job here this year, but since he became a head coach dating all the way back to USF as well, so a lot of familiarity with a lot of their staff and looking forward to the contest."
The Week 5 matchup between Tennessee and Auburn is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT. ESPN will televise the game with Bob Wischusen (play-by-play), Louis Riddick (analyst) and Stormy Buonantony (sideline reporter) on the call.
