Josh Heupel kicks off Tennessee-Florida game week

Week 13 of the 2025 college football season will feature the Tennessee-Florida rivalry.
No. 20 Tennessee (7-3, 3-3 SEC) will play at Florida (3-7, 2-5 SEC) on Saturday. Kickoff between the Vols and Gators is slated for 7:30 p.m. EST at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida.
ABC will televise the contest with Chris Fowler (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst) and Holly Rowe (sideline reporter) on the call.
Fifth-year Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel kicked off game week on Monday. He previewed the rivalry matchup.
“Got an opportunity, go on the road, play a team that’s playing extremely well,” Heupel said. “You know, lost some close ball games, but rivalry game here and sure it will be a great atmosphere down in Gainesville.
“It’s a football game that’s always physical, and you know, one in the details of the game, turnover margin. Got to go play extremely well, all three phases.”
Florida has won five consecutive SEC games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The Gators’ last home loss was to Texas A&M on Sept. 14, 2024.
