No. 18 Oklahoma (6-2, 2-2 SEC) defeated No. 14 Tennessee (6-3, 3-3 SEC), 33-27, on Saturday during Week 10 of the 2025 college football season at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee totaled 456 yards (393 passing, 63 rushing) against the Sooners. Joey Aguilar completed 29-of-45 passing attempts for 393 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel recapped the Vols’ performance against Oklahoma.

“Obviously, extremely disappointed with the outcome,” Heupel said. “Everybody in the program is extremely disappointed. Fans were awesome tonight, as always, I want to thank them. First half, thought defensively we played extremely well. Offensively, move the football, don’t get points in the red zone, turn the ball over, give them 16 points in the first half and just can’t win that way. They’re a good football team, and then at the end just didn’t have enough to do over the hump, so give credit to them. We got to play smarter to win a game like that.”

Tennessee will have an open date in Week 11.
