Kansas football transfer portal tracker: News, developments on Jan. 8

LAWRENCE — The Division I transfer portal window for college football is open from Jan. 2 through Jan. 16, and that means Thursday is another chance for Kansas football to shape its 2026 roster.
The Jayhawks have recently added a pair of commitments. One was Yasin Willis, a running back from Syracuse. The other was Christian Pritchett, a defensive back from Georgia Tech.
They also saw two more players from the KU roster in 2025 announce which colleges they are headed to next as they leave the program. Redshirt sophomore tight end Jaden Hamm is headed to Arkansas State. Redshirt freshman linebacker JaCorey Stewart is headed to FIU.
