In the hours before Kansas State football’s matchup with Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the Wildcats added a three-star defensive lineman to their 2026 recruiting class.

Carnell Jackson Jr., an interior defensive lineman from Auburn, Alabama, announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Jackson chose the Wildcats over West Virginia, which was one of his final two options. He was originally committed to Arkansas before it parted ways with Sam Pittman.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 335 pounds, the Wildcats extended their roster to Jackson in late September. Since then, he had also received offers from Southern Miss, Houston and WVU.

Jackson is the third defensive lineman to commit to the Wildcats, joining Kingston Hall and Adrian Bekibele.
