MANHATTAN — One of the biggest prizes of Kansas State football’s 2026 recruiting class has flipped to another Big 12 program in the days before the early signing period.

Four-star offensive lineman Justin Morales has backed out of his commitment to Kansas State and will instead sign with Arizona, On3 reporter Pete Nakos reported on Sunday, Nov. 30.

He is the second Kansas State commit to flip to Arizona this month, joining Hannibal Carter Navies, a safety out of Grayson (Georgia).

Morales was the highest-ranked commit for the Wildcats’ 2026 class and one of two four-star recruits. Lawson McGraw, a linebacker out of Blue Valley West, now ranks as the top player in K-State’s class.

Morales had been committed to Kansas State since June. The interior offensive lineman out of El Paso (Texas) Franklin initially chose K-State over Oregon State, Michigan State, Texas Tech and others.

The early signing period begins Wednesday, Dec. 3.
