BYU will have to wait a bit longer for its first road game of 2026.
Kickoff for the Cougars’ matchup with Colorado State has been pushed back 75 minutes to 6:15 p.m. MT due to rain and lightning in the Fort Collins area. The game will be broadcast on CBS.

According to the Deseret News’ Jay Drew, on-field warmups for the Cougars and Rams will be shortened to 60 minutes.
This is BYU’s first pregame weather delay since traveling to USF for the 2022 season opener. Last year, the Cougars’ visit to Arizona was interrupted between the first and second quarters due to similar inclement weather.
