Kickoff time, TV network set for Georgia football game at Alabama

Georgia football’s matchup with Alabama during Kirby Smart’s time as Bulldogs coach has been must-watch TV.

There is now a kickoff time and channel set for the latest installment between the SEC programs.

The Bulldogs’ game in Tuscaloosa is set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on ABC on Oct. 10 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The game was already slotted for a night TV window but the specifics were nailed down with Monday’s announcement.

It’s a top 10 matchup based on this week’s coaches poll.

Georgia (4-0, 2-0 SEC) is No. 2 ranked heading into a 12:45 p.m. game against Vanderbilt Saturday.

Alabama (4-0, 2-0) is No. 7 going into Saturday’s noon kickoff at No. 16 Mississippi State.

Georgia won the last game between the teams, 28-7, in the SEC championship game last December, but the Crimson Tide won the regular season matchup in Athens, 24-21.

The Bulldogs are 0-2 under Smart in Tuscaloosa, losing 41-24 in 2020 and 41-34 and 2024.
