The Georgia Bulldogs beat the Oklahoma Sooners this past Saturday, 41-13, to improve their record to 4-0. The offense put up a lot of points, as it has all season, leaning on the run game, but without star running back Nate Frazier.

It was reported that Frazier sustained a ribs injury against Arkansas the previous week. Although Frazier did dress out for the Oklahoma game, he did not see any time on the field and reportedly appeared to be in pain during warm ups. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart gave an update on Frazier's injury status for their contest against Vanderbilt this week.

"As far as Nate (Frazier), I'll just defer to the injury report like everybody else does," Smart said. "That's why we have them."

Frazier's availability for Saturday is still unknown. So far this season, he's rushed for 202 yards and five touchdowns in three games. If Frazier isn't ready to go on Saturday, then Georgia will play running backs Chauncey Bowens and Dwight Phillips more snaps. Last week, Bowens had two rushing touchdowns against the Sooners while Phillips had one.

"I'm really proud of those backs," Smart added. Bo (Walker) and Nick (Peal) and Jae Lamar all picked up the slack in practice, got reps, got work. Obviously, Chauncey (Bowens) and Dwight (Phillips) got the feature presentation of most of that, but those other guys worked tremendously hard, as well."
