Summary: The Huskies are bringing Ksani Jiles back to his west coast roots to play in college. You don’t see many CBs seek contact and deliver big hits like Jiles does. He plays fearless, but under control and has great ball skills, allowing very few completions on the year.

High School: IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)

Recruiting Ranking: Jiles is rated the 97th rated CB in the country and the 126th highest prospect in Florida.

The Recruitment: Despite his recruiting rating, numerous top programs were heavily in pursuit of Jiles. He had offers from Florida, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and USC among many others. Florida, Missouri, and Notre Dame kept recruiting him even after his commitment to UW, but he stayed true to his word and stuck with the Dawgs.

Roster Impact: Jiles will likely start as a boundary corner and with both starting jobs open, he will be part of the competition to fill those roles. Dylan Robinson will be the favorite for one of the spots, but Jiles will likely be deep in the competition for the other spot. He also has the versatility to play the nickel spot as well.
