Lane Kiffin went ballistic on an official while looking for an offsides call

Lane Kiffin isn't the biggest fan of SEC officiating at the moment.

He made his feelings on the matter abundantly clear in the second quarter against Texas A&M. Facing a fourth down and four, LSU seemingly drew the Aggies offside. However, the officials didn't call it, and instead of snapping the ball, quarterback Sam Leavitt walked away from the center as an apoplectic Kiffin took his frustrations out on one of the refs in a prolonged sideline meltdown.

That tirade used up the remaining play clock as the Tigers were called for a delay of game. While it's understandable why Kiffin was upset, LSU's offensive line could have sold the penalty better or, as color commentator Jesse Palmer pointed out, the center could have snapped the ball to draw the flag.

Instead, the Tigers were backed up and forced to punt.

It didn't seem to have a major impact, however, as the defense responded with a three-and-out, setting up an 83-play LSU touchdown drive to give the Tigers a 14-3 lead heading into halftime.

Still, it seems there's no love lost between Kiffin and his Week 4 officiating crew.
