'Legitimate Concern' Emerges For Colorado As Deion Sanders Enters Year 4

A "legitimate concern" has emerged for Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes football program as he enters Year 4 at the school.

The first three years of Coach Prime's tenure at Colorado have been up and down. Sanders led Colorado to a big 10-win season two years ago, thanks to Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. However, the Buffaloes dropped back in 2025.

They're looking shaky heading into 2026, too.

Footage from Colorado's spring game has fans worried that the Buffaloes are way too small.

"I swear I am not saying this to slander them for fun or to be a (jerk). There are high school football teams that are bigger than Colorado," one fan noted.

College football fans worried about Colorado in Year 4

Colorado looks very small in stature.

"Everyone on this roster definitely lied about their height and weight measurements. What in the JV is this," one fan wrote.

"They don't look like a team that could beat any team in the SEC or big 10. They just look like they belong in group of 5 conferences. What is going on with the nutrition program there?" one fan added.

"Sanders got a Jv high school team here," one fan added.

"This looks like a High School JV team lol," one fan added.

"No way this is a college team. Is there anyone over 200 pounds on the team?" one fan added.

It's just the spring, but college football fans are already starting to get worried about this year's Colorado squad.
