Live updates, scores for first round of AHSAA football playoffs in the Montgomery area

With the regular season of Alabama high school football over in the Montgomery area, it means it’s time for the AHSAA football playoffs to begin.
The Montgomery area will have 11 teams representing in the first round of the AHSAA playoffs, with five of the 11 earning the rights to host a playoff game in round one.
Games are slated to kickoff on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. across the sate. Check back here for scoring updates on the Montgomery Advertiser’s scoreboard.

AHSAA football playoffs round one schedule in the Montgomery area
Both Class 3A teams earned the right to host a playoff game at Montgomery Academy and Trinity Presbyterian, while Montgomery Catholic and Pike Road will also play in front of the home crowd come Friday. Carver will take the trip to Thompson in a rematch after the Wolverines fell to the Warriors in Week 0.

Most of the AHSAA football playoff games in the Montgomery area are available to stream on the NFHS Network. It is a subscription service that cost $13.99 but gives to access to all content on the site, across all sports.
It is up to the schools to provide the stream, so it’s not a guarantee that all games in all sports are available but most area schools look to have at least some football games on the site.
