Londonderry's Ramshaw among 10 UNH football preseason all-conference honorees

Ten University of New Hampshire football players received Phil Steele Coastal Athletic Association preseason all-conference honors on Monday.

Colby Ramshaw, a senior captain from Londonderry, fellow tight end Drew Danson, linebackers Trevor Barry and Darren Burton II, safety Cohen Cook, defensive lineman Cameron Garner-Young and offensive lineman Luke Swaine were named to Phil Steele's Second Team.

Senior running back Myles Thomason was selected to the first team as a running back, the second team as a punt returner and the third team as an all-purpose designation.

The other Wildcats named to the third team were senior wide receiver Ja'Carree Kelly and graduate student offensive lineman Beau Riley.

UNH opens its season on Friday, Aug. 28 at UAlbany. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
