With Ole Miss’ loss to Miami last night, the Southeastern Conference, or SEC, will miss the College Football Playoff National Championship game. Miami will now look to play the winner of Indiana and Oregon in tonight’s CFP semifinal matchup.
Last season, eventual champion Ohio State beat Notre Dame in the championship game. In 2023, Michigan beat Washington in the final championship game of the former four-team CFP format.
