And just like that, following a second consecutive disappointing regular season for the Wolverines after the program captured the College Football Playoff national championship just two years ago, head coach Sherrone Moore has been fired. Michigan administrators’ decision to send Moore packing came after it was revealed that Moore was accused of being part of an inappropriate relationship during his head coaching tenure at Michigan. Apparently, as Yahoo Sports! and other outlets report, Moore “engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.” An investigation launched. And that’s how we got here.
Texas will now face Michigan in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, albeit without their head coach.
