The pairings for this year’s ACC-SEC Challenge have been unveiled, and as expected, Louisville will take on one of the teams expected to compete for the SEC championship.

Sean Miller’s Texas Longhorns, a potential, preseason top 10 team, will make an appearance inside the KFC Yum Center for a high-profile contest on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Here are the full pairings for this year’s event:

Big man Matas Vokietaitis (15.6 ppg) is the headline returner from a Texas team that crashed the Sweet 16 as an 11-seed last March. He’ll join forces with a top five transfer portal class that features Isaiah Johnson (16.9 PPG at Colorado), David Punch (14.1 PPG at TCU) and Mikey Lewis (13.9 PPG at Saint Mary’s), among others.

This is exactly the type of home game I think the fan base wants to see Pat Kelsey win during the first month of the season. Should be a heck of a night.
