Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen reunite the Islanders for unresolved drama, relationship updates and a look back at their summer in Fiji.
The “Love Island USA” Season 8 reunion is almost here, bringing the Islanders back together for one final round of conversations, unresolved drama and relationship updates.
The reunion premieres Monday, August 31, at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) and will stream exclusively on Peacock. The streaming service confirmed the date and time in its official reunion announcement.
The Season 8 reunion was taped at Universal City, California, following a pink-carpet event involving the cast. Peacock says the reunion brings the Islanders together in front of a live studio audience to revisit what happened during and after their time in Fiji.
Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen are returning to host the reunion. Their involvement sets up a different atmosphere from the regular episodes, with the cast now able to respond to moments they experienced in the Villa and developments that happened after filming.
A trailer highlighted tensions among several Islanders, suggesting the reunion won’t simply be a celebratory catch-up. Vulture reported moments involving Melanie, Kenzie, Beatriz and Trinity that point to unresolved disagreements making their way onto the reunion stage.
Fans won’t have to wait until next summer to know the show’s future. Peacock announced on August 26 that “Love Island USA” has been renewed for Season 9, with Madix returning as host. The new season is scheduled for summer 2027.
