BATON ROUGE – Lane Kiffin is quickly becoming an expert in riding in parades.

Last month, the new LSU football head coach was the Co-Grand Marshal for the 2026 Endymion Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans. Later this month, Kiffin will get back in the parade riding saddle as a special guest to Baton Rouge’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities and will ride in the Wearin’ of the Green Baton Rouge St. Patrick’s Day parade, the parade runners announced on social media Monday.

Comedian Theo Von will join Kiffin as a special guest and ride in the parade as well.

The parade is set for March 14, starting at 11 a.m. CT and will travel a route through the Hundred Oaks and Perkins Road Overpass section of the city.

Before coaching a game at LSU, Kiffin will have ridden in two parades in south Louisiana this offseason. LSU formally hired Kiffin back on Dec. 1 and since his hiring, LSU has signed the nation’s transfer portal class, bringing in 40 transfers to LSU.

LSU will be set to open its first spring practice under Kiffin and his assembled coaching staff a week-and-a-half after the St. Patrick’s Day parade March 24.
