LSU continues strong push for 4-star OL Kal-El Johnson

LSU offensive line coach Eric Wolford visited four-star offensive tackle Kal-El Johnson in Cincinnati this week as the Tigers continue making a strong push for the six-foot-seven, 320-pound recruit. Johnson is regarded as one of the top 10 players in Ohio for the 2027 recruiting cycle and attends Archbishop Moeller High School.

Johnson has taken unofficial visits to LSU, Ohio State three times, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Alabama and Penn State while also making official visits to Indiana, Georgia Tech, Auburn, UCLA and NC State.

The highly touted pass protector continues drawing significant attention from prestigious programs across the country as his recruitment gains momentum heading into the summer evaluation period. With his combination of size, strength and upside, Johnson has quickly emerged as one of the more coveted offensive tackle prospects in the 2027 recruiting class.
