CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz offered a significant update on LSU football's top remaining transfer portal target: offensive lineman Jordan Seaton.
In a social media post, Zenitz revealed Oregon is no longer expected to get a visit.
"LSU appears to have some momentum with him at the moment. Miami among others appears in the mix," Zenitz wrote.
Seaton would be a massive get for LSU. The Tigers have signed a handful of offensive linemen already, but Seaton would immediately become the best lineman on LSU's roster and one of the best in the SEC. He would slot right into a starting spot at left tackle.
The five-star tackle was a two-year starter at Colorado under head coach Deion Sanders. Seaton was a contributor from the moment he stepped on campus, competing in a power conference. Rivals' Industry Rankings say he's the No. 5 player in the transfer class.
An update on Colorado offensive tackle transfer Jordan Seaton:
While Oregon isn’t out of contention, he’s no longer expected to visit the Ducks, sources tell me and @chris_hummer.

LSU football's transfer portal class is currently the best in the country. Seaton would put the finishing touch on what is already an elite group in Lane Kiffin's first year.
