One of LSU football's defensive commitments to its 2027 class got a boost from 247Sports. The outlet upgraded Markez Davis to a four-star prospect this week.
Davis committed to LSU on June 8 after a visit at the end of May. The cornerback became the seventh player to choose the Tigers. He also had offers from Houston, Texas Tech, and West Virginia but decided to stay home.
247Sports lists Davis as the No. 12 player out of Louisiana. He hails from Opelousas, LA and attends Northwest High School. The outlet lists him as six-foot-three and 178 pounds.
