LSU football keeps building momentum on the recruiting trail as the Tigers host a four-star safety. Jalen Flowers is making a stop in Baton Rouge, per a report from 247Sports' Blair Angulo.

LSU's in the thick of building its 2027 recruiting class, but the Tigers have their eyes on 2028, too. Flowers is the No. 3-ranked safety in the 28 class and No. 116 overall recruit, per 247Sports' rankings.Rivals is the highest on Flowers, slotting him No. 81 overall and No. 6 at his position.

Flowers, a California native, is a national recruit and LSU will have to battle the nation's top programs, including USC and Ohio State.

LSU's yet to add a commit for the 2028 cycle, which is normal for this point on the timeline. 2028 prospects won't sign for 18 months.

LSU has a strong record when it comes to recruiting defensive backs and the coaching staff will look to make a strong impression on Flowers this weekend.
